GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

CRECI pays special attention to the protection and security of data concerning you. In this context, CRECI undertakes to comply with the regulations on personal data and electronic communications, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), as well as Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended (commonly known as the "Data Protection Act"). Below, you will find information regarding the data we collect during your visit to our website, accessible at https://www.creci.fr/, and its usage.

1. Names and contact details of the data controller and the data protection officer 

CRECI assumes the role of data controller within the meaning of Article 4, para. 7 of the GDPR. Our Data Protection Officer can be contacted at the following address: contact@creci.fr, or via our contact form, specifying "Data Protection" as the subject.

2. Information regarding the collection and storage of personal data, as well as its usage:

CRECI, as the data controller, may collect and process personal data concerning you. "Personal data" refers to all information relating to you, such as your name, address, email address, IP address, and behavior. The collection of data is limited to the information necessary for the fulfillment of these purposes from a technical point of view.

 

(a) Connection data

When you simply visit our site without registering or providing any information about yourself, we only collect data about you that is transmitted to us by your web browser. During your visit to our site, we collect the following data, which is necessary for secure and stable access to our site (legal basis: Article 6, para. 1, 1st sentence, f) of the GDPR):

  • IP address

  • Date and time of the request

  • Time zone

  • Request content

  • Access status/HTTP access code

  • Amount of data transferred

  • Website from which the request comes

  • Browser and operating system

  • Browser language and version

  • Name of the accessed file

  • Consultation status

  • URL of the originating site

  • Internet service provider


CRECI is unable to attribute this data to a specific individual and does not correlate this information with other sources of information. Furthermore, when you visit our site, we place cookies on your hard drive. For more information, see point 4. below.

(b) Contacting our services by email or through a contact form

When you contact us by email or via the contact forms available on our site, we record the data you provide to us (your email address, possibly your name, and your phone number, etc.) in order to meet your request. The collection and processing of your data is based on Article 6, para. 1, 1st sentence, a) of the GDPR. When certain information is essential for us to process your request, the corresponding fields in the contact form are marked with an asterisk. If you refuse to provide the requested information, the consequence will be that we will not be able to respond to your request. The data transmitted in this way will be deleted when their retention is no longer necessary. Unless we are required by legal provisions to keep them for a longer period, in which case we will delete them as soon as we are relieved of this obligation.

(c) Transmission to third parties:

The data collected on the site is intended for CRECI and its partners when you accept it.

3. Rights of the data subjects

 

In accordance with applicable regulations, individuals concerned by the processing of personal data carried out by CRECI acknowledge that they have been informed of their rights and, accordingly, have the following:

  • The right of access and rectification, enabling you to have your personal data modified, completed, or updated;

  • The right to delete inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or data for which collection, use, communication, or retention is prohibited;

  • The right to object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons;

  • The right to object without giving a reason, to the use of your data for prospecting purposes;

  • The right to define directives regarding the fate of your personal data after death;

  • The right to data portability, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;

  • The right to limit processing, under the terms and conditions set out in Article 18 of European Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016;

  • The right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the National Commission on Informatics and Liberties - the "CNIL").

When processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by sending a message to contact@creci.fr. In accordance with current regulations, your request must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing your signature and specify the address to which the response should be sent. As an individual concerned, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the national data protection authority. In principle, you can contact the supervisory authority in your place of residence, or that of our headquarters.


4. Cookies

 

You are informed that, when visiting the site, cookies may automatically be installed on your browsing software. Cookies are "information stored on terminal equipment", which are deposited by an Internet site on a user's terminal. Depositing a "cookie" involves attaching a "label" to the user's terminal. All information collected by these cookies is only retained for the duration of use of the services offered by the CRECI site, and for a period not exceeding, in any case, 13 months.

5. Data security and communication by email

 

CRECI implements all necessary technical and organizational means to safeguard your data, preventing third parties from accessing it. However, when you communicate with us by email, we cannot guarantee optimal security for your data, which leads us to advise you to contact us by postal mail for the transmission of confidential data. Employees and service providers mandated by CRECI are subject to an obligation of confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Within our website, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. In general, your browser will support encryption at a level of 256 bits. You can recognize which pages of our site are subject to encryption by the lock icon appearing in the status bar (bottom part) of your browser.

 

6. Update and modification of these legal notices concerning personal data

 

These legal notices were last updated in 2023. Due to possible updates to our site, as well as the evolution of the regulations applicable to personal data, we may be required to modify these legal notices.
